Located in Beautiful Eastern Oregon! Bartell Farm is a mother/daughter run operation raising beef, pork and Morgan horses. We strive to produce quality, docile animals that are easy to be worked by women. All our animals are selected heavily for docility. We can pet most of our cattle herd, all our sows are gentle and safe to handle while farrowing and all our horses have proven themselves to be great mountain rides. Happy animals are very important to us, so we are always working to improve the conditions of our operation in ways to keep our animals safe and happy. Our cows get to spend the summer months ranging family property in the mountains, our sows (when not nursing) are in large paddocks with access to streams for wallowing, and our horses are grazing pastures as long as there is grass to sustain them. As Morgan Horse Breeders, we strive to produce strong Ranch type Morgan horses that often have color.
